Dear Beloved Sister in the Lord,
Is it the time pressure, family obligations, financial strain or relationship woes that trigger so many emotions this time of year? My Goodness, it's November already and the whirlwind begins or NOTt- for some there's an empty void, fear even panic about how to fill the lonely places. Whatever your need, read on- there is deep comfort and consolation that the Father wants to bestow on you today and in the coming weeks...
I think a lot about connection lately, that need to be known in the deep places no one else understands. I feel my teacup, the warmth of the it's bone exterior, I fixate on the teabag hugged by the hot water bringing out its best aroma; cozy, warm secure I hold the cup with both hands as the winds blow outside and the last remnants of Autumn leaves fall to the ground.
It will soon be the end of November, winters' bare branches will etch the sky with solemn reminders that some souls feel barren, lost and alone without connection to God or other frail mortals.
What can I do, Lord to fill their cup with the warm tea bag of your love? He whispered, "first you must be full, right now you have little to overflow from your empty cup". I knew at that moment how important it was to stay connected with a full cup of divine presence to have any purpose or fulfillment in this life.
I am making that a priority this season and planning ahead to provide ministry to women on Long Island (in person events) and around the country and globe (via internet/zoom). I will soon have a date in January for a Ladies Luncheon I am planning at a lovely restaurant, an outreach where you can invite a friend that doesn't know Christ; there will be a soft touch message that brings the relevancy to the Gospel to our lives! A Living Relationship with Christ!
This week, a group of ladies are finishing up Intro Transformation Prayer Ministry Training, I will offer this again once more before the New Year, email me or check the website for sign up.
In addition, I am introducing Monthly Sisterhood with Purpose Memberships, we will meet monthly on Zoom for Support, biblical insight on a variety of life issues, a private face book group and a safe place to grow in Christ. Sisterhood Members will have first serve for retreats, luncheons and events. Also it entitles you to a one on one Coaching session with me. Sisterhood membership is only $11.00/month.
You may ask, why is Lauren putting herself out there and asking a small fee. Well, to be honest---I have been called to bible teaching and ministry from the time I was a small child. My desire is to be able to fully retire someday from Real Estate and be devoted and focused on the ministry. So far I have been obedient to the Lord's call and have not worked for almost two years in real estate. A step of faith, something we do holding His hand ever so tightly.
